This little cutie pie is my cousin's son and my godson Micah. These photos are from a few weeks ago; he was very excited to try out the new spoon and fork set we bought him.
And, Lord willing, there will soon be two little ones running around. His baby brother Mason is due in less than two weeks!

Entry # 21: Bellingham
Bellingham. My mom and I spent Christmas with our family in Bellingham, and it was a wonderful trip. All of the family members that I am closest to (aside from my mom) live there, and every day with them was enjoyable from the days we spent simply relaxing at home watching movies and tending to the chickens to Christmas Day, which began with a reflective family devotion and ended with sledding on freshly fallen snow.
From the moment I step foot on Bellingham soil, I begin to dread the return flight home. The family members that I have there are so near and dear to my heart, and two of them, my aunt and my uncle, specifically, are always encouraging to be around. They were the first two people in my family to get saved, so my time with them is edifying for me with my walk with God.
Something to pray about, and ponder, is whether or not Bellingham, or somewhere around it, or somewhere like it, would be a future home for me. I like the pace of life there, and I feel like the town is a good fit for me. In my opinion, it has such a perfect balance of rural and urban. There's a lot of local art and music and downtown activities, and all the stores and amenities that one would want or need can be found there, yet there's also the quieter countryside aspect of it, with a closer connection to creation, and the vast opportunities for outdoor activities (did someone say sea kayaking?). I'll be praying for that. A lot of things to consider first.
